YOTA Masters Swimmer Sets New Record!!!!

YOTA Masters Coach/ Swimmer, Dan Velez, set a new Puerto Rican National Record this past weekend!

Competing in the 2010 National Championships, Dan Velez set the new mark in the 50m Breast by only .03 of a second, finishing with a time of 28.87!!!

This 50m breast record joins his already standing National Record in the 100m Breast (1:01.8)which Dan set in Beijing at the 2008 Olympic Games.

Dan also finished 1st in the 100m Breast at the National Champs (1:04.93)

Congrats to Dan and good luck as he continues his training for a big summer ahead!
